In August 2011, Jones & Swartz attorney Joy M. Bingham received a jury verdict for her client that included $70,000 in punitive damages against her former employer, Club 7, in Fruitland, Idaho who had illegally retaliated against the employee by firing her because she filed an employment discrimination complaint with the Idaho Human Rights Commission.
